As always some of us have to learn things the hard way! I was down on my back with pain that was out of this world. Well to me any ways! Having a pulled groin, the ongoing pulling of my muscles had caused pain in by back that was so bad I could not move. A trip to the Doctor and she gave me anti-inflammatory and a muscle relaxant, the side effects can be quite severe. So while I get my pain under control, I also felt a strong need to research foods that will help. I found many that also harm.
There are foods we love, which sometimes are not so good for us. Rez Style....... ok I admit, I probably should not have had Maxine's Greek Macaroni Salad, which did have olives, and tomatoes, and was so delish.....those things are good for you, and we are looking into how to make it healthier, our ideas so far has been to make it with Whole Wheat Pasta. Will let you know how that goes once the test is in!!!! Then my son made me Mac and Cheese With Tuna, and I enjoyed that! Tuna is good for inflammation by the way! Then the kicker, more Mac and Tomatoes with Indian Bread! It was amazing to be honest! Next day I could not walk or move! Refined Carbs took on a whole new meaning!!!!!
I love my Macaroni and Tomatoes, BUTTTTTTT! It causes inflammation! Got pain? Have to really consider if you want to add to it.
Tomatoes are great for inflammation. Alone!!! Then how about adding the white piece of bread with it? Yum right? I know! I know! More Inflammation!
According to
http://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/foods-that-fight-inflammation
"However, sometimes inflammation persists, day in and day out, even when you are not threatened by a foreign invader. That's when inflammation can become your enemy. Many major diseases that plague us—including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, depression, and Alzheimer's—have been linked to chronic inflammation."
There are certain foods that fight Inflammation also this list below also comes from Harvard Health Education which can be accessed with the link above! When it comes down to it, we all have to find something good with things especially when it goes wrong, so my Healing journey is adding to my knowledge. Yes, the Hard Way!

So if you have pain, if you try a few of these above foods and see the results on your pain, perhaps you can also note your pain levels if you do try those foods that cause inflammation, Perhaps you can create health by a healthy diet!
Onwards with a Rez Healing Journey!!
